Usually they are admired for their courage, bravery, or persistence by others. There can be national heroes, legendary heroes, local heroes and personal heroes which is a matter of how many people recognize their impact.

Giants of Industry – A Giants of industry are people whose innovations have transformed the business world through their products, systems, or ideas. Great inventors are giants of industry.

9/11 or September 11th – 9/11 refers to an attack by terrorist against the United States that happened on Tuesday Sept 11, 2001. 4 airplanes were hijacked and used as massive bombs to attack NYC, The Pentagon, and an unknown 4th target. Almost 3,000 people died in the 4 attacks. The attacks led the US into a war against terror producing the military actions in Afghanistan and Iraq, the creations of the Dept. of Homeland Security, and changes to the airport security.
